Wagyu + Uni + Ikura (3-piece set)

This isn’t your average sushi night. With buttery A5 Wagyu, fresh uni, and premium ikura, you’re building the kind of bite you’d expect from a top-tier omakase — all from home.

Includes:

  • A5 Wagyu Yakiniku (100g)

  •  Bafun Uni (250g tray)

  • Salmon Trout Ikura (250g)

What you’ll need (besides this bundle):

  • Sushi rice (warm, seasoned)

  • Soy sauce, wasabi, or shiso (optional for garnish)

Steps:

  1. Cook and season the rice:
    Make sushi rice and season with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Let it cool slightly — it should be warm, not hot.

  2. Lightly sear the Wagyu:
    Using a hot pan or kitchen torch, give each slice of wagyu a quick sear — just enough to caramelise the edges while keeping the centre tender. Set aside.

  3. Shape the gunkan base:
    With damp hands, form bite-sized oval rice bases (about 2 fingers wide). These will hold your toppings.

  4. Assemble the gunkan:

    • Drape a slice of seared wagyu around each rice base like a soft wrap.

    • Top with a spoonful of uni, followed by a small mound of ikura.

  5. Serve and enjoy:
    Eat immediately while the wagyu is still warm and silky. Each bite is creamy, briny, and rich — with that signature ikura pop.
