These are delicious red tomatoes with high sugar levels, known in Japanese as フルーツトマト furūtsu tomato. Originating from Kochi, this particular variety of tomato is known for its incredibly sweet fruit juice, almost reminiscent of other fruits. It’s best savored by biting into it whole. However, because of its abundant juice, be mindful as it may drip while eating.
